Artist for Action to End Gun Violence

Stop Gun Violence

Billie Eilish, Peter Gabriel, Bootsy Collins, Sheryl Crow, and a whole lineup of incredible musicians, including Nile Rodgers, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Rufus Wainwright, Pixies’ Joey Santiago, Soffi Tukker, LP, and Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor, are joining forces to take a stand against gun violence. They're calling themselves the "Artist for Action" and they're raising their voices to put an end to this epidemic.

These artists are not just talking the talk, they are walking the walk. They're urging people to volunteer, donate, and most importantly, make their voices heard through voting. Their goal is to raise awareness and bring about change.

In a powerful video, Peter Gabriel expressed his shock at how easy it is for anyone to access a weapon in the United States. Sheryl Crow emphasized the importance of unity, saying that the people in power won't do the work, and it's up to us to get louder until they can't ignore us anymore. And Karen Fairchild made it clear that they're not trying to take away anyone's guns, they just want common sense solutions.

This initiative was launched by Mark Barden, who tragically lost his son in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. He teamed up with Rick Korn, Matthew Reich, and Neal Saini to create "Artist for Action". Their mission is clear - to prevent future tragedies and keep communities safe.

And they're not the only ones joining the cause. Halestorm, Rozzi, Young the Giant, and Tedeschi Trucks Band are just a few of the other musicians lending their support. Bush even has a concert planned to raise awareness for the cause.

So mark your calendars and get ready to take action. Together, we can bring about change and put an end to gun violence. Let's make our voices heard and create a safer future for everyone.
