North Carolina based synth-pop duo Sylvan Esso, consisting of married couple Amelia Meath (singer) and Nick Sanborn (producer), has been creating delicious music for over eight years, with three critically acclaimed albums released to date. The latest single, electric stunner "Numb" from the third album Free Love, is a real album highlight. Amelia's Meath stunning vocals glide gracefully with Nick Sanborn's danceable bass and synth-heavy production work. The song is overall an empowering testimony of optimism in these challenging times. A welcome pick me up for any listener. 

The video to "Numb" sees Meath make her directorial debut alongside LA choregrapher Jasmine Albequerque. The video has a strong ethos of reemergence and liberation (aligning perfectly with the song itself), especially poignant during these difficult times, as Meath and a group of LA dancers discards a year of confinement in the COVID era with a stunning dance routine.
