According to Wikipedia, fashion is an aesthetic expression during a particular period and/or place and in a specific context, whether it’s clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body proportions. Although a trend often connotes a peculiar aesthetic expression and often lasting shorter than a season, fashion is a distinctive and industry-supported expression traditionally tied to the fashion season and collections. Style is an expression that lasts over many seasons and is often connected to cultural movements and social markers, symbols, class, and culture (ex. Baroque, Rococo, etc.).
Our goal here is not so much to propagate "trends" or "styles" but to look at fashion as lasting impressions that can be reinterpreted. This is all done with some minor adjustments. to tell of a moment in time when maintaining the substance of the original impression.
